Academic roles relating to Student Education
There are a number of key academic roles directly related to Student Education. For many of these roles, there is a standard University role description.
Role holders work in partnership with colleagues in the Student Education Service to provide a high-quality student experience.
Academic integrity officer
Each school (or faculty) appoints an academic integrity officer to ensure procedures around plagiarism education, procedures and investigation are consistent.
Director of Student Education
The Director of Student Education has a dual Faculty and School role and is directly responsible to the Faculty, through the Pro-Dean for Student Education, for the quality assurance, standards and quality enhancement of the School's learning and teaching provision.
Module leaders are appointed to develop, organise and manage the module(s) for which they are responsible.
