Quality assurance-related policies

New courses and changed courses need formal approval before they can be offered to students.

Committees

The University operates a system of deliberative committees relating to taught student education and to research postgraduate studies.

External examiners

External examiners are an essential part of the University's quality assurance processes. The role of the external examiner is to provide assurance to the University that its assessment system is fair and operated equitably, and to ensure comparability of the University's standards with those in peer institutions.

Education Partnerships

Education Partnerships, including Collaborative Provision and Study Abroad arrangements, involves the award of academic credit that is delivered, assessed or supported in partnership between two or more organisations.
