International Baccalaureate

Undergraduate

Qualification required for undergraduate entry: The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) is accepted with a minimum overall score of 31. Higher level (HL) subjects are considered equivalent to A-level. Standard level (SL) subjects may be accepted as equivalent to GCSE.

Please check the English language minimum requirement section for the IB modules and grades that are acceptable in lieu of GCSE English.

Higher level Maths: Applications and Interpretation and Maths: Analysis and Approaches can be accepted in place of A-level Maths.

GCSE grade A* or 9 = MYP grade 7
GCSE grade A, 8 or 7 = MYP grade 6
GCSE grade B or 6 = MYP grade 5
GCSE grade B or 5 = MYP grade 4
GCSE grade C or 4 = MYP grade 3

If the applicant requires a Student visa, we cannot accept the MYP as proof of English so they will need a separate English language qualification.
