If you would like to become an invigilator, there is a range of training and guidelines are available to you.
The Examinations Office no longer requires schools to provide staff invigilators for exams. If a member of staff wishes to invigilate their exam, they should contact the Examinations Office before the start of the exam period.

For information on how to become an invigilator at the University please see below. We hire external people as lead invigilators to run exams and PhD students as support invigilators to assist.

*Only research degree students can be employed as invigilators. If you are a research degree student but are studying any taught modules, you are not eligible due to a conflict of interest.
Before you can be allocated any invigilator duties you will have to undertake some compulsory online training.
